Wooden sheet pop out toys?

Okay, this is a little awkward. I want to know the name of a toy I’ve seen before. It’s like those cardboard dolls, but instead, it’s made of thin sheets of wood with shapes carved in. To get the pieces out of the sheet, you just pop it out.

These pieces of wood can be put together to make 3D shapes. Some examples I saw were butterflies, airplanes, chairs, benches, dressers, etc.

What are these technically called and where could I find them?

I checked Toys R Us and various craft stores, but none of them have any. I am willing to buy them online.

Do you mean the wooden preschool puzzles?

The only thing I can think of are those balsa wood airplanes. Is it similar to those skeleton dinosaur kits? The zoos used to sell dolphin and dinosaur kits.

    Sorry I can’t help more.

I think these are the kind of toys you’re talking about, but they just seem to be called ‘wooden 3d puzzles’, ‘wooden 3d dinosaurs’, etc.
