Will hot glue hold fabric onto the outside of duct tape?

I have some duct tape crafts I want to cover in fabric. Anyone had experience with this?

It might work temporarily but I would try using mod lodge because it goes on before and after and it will cover your project instead of only where you line the glue.

I quit using hot glue years ago. Here are the problems you will have with it.
On a warm day it will unstick. – on a hot day it will melt.
Does not stick to crystals or polished rocks. Also does not stick to stained glass.

I figure that since it does not stick to the smooth surfaces of crystals and polished rocks, that it will most likely not stick well to duct tape.

I do know that Goop is great at attaching fabric to things.

Here is an example of me using goop with crystals

I do also suggest that You cut little short slits in the duct tape. The glue will go through the slit and get a better hold.

I hope that I have been helpful
