Where is the cheapest place to buy wooden letters?

I want to put my son’s name on his wall in our nursery with those wooden letters. I would prefer to get some already painted either black or chocolate brown, but if I have to I can buy plain wooden ones to paint myself. Where is a cheap place to purchase them. WalMart has none, and I want some bigger than Michaels Crafts has. Thanks!

you could try Joann fabrics and crafts and maybe home depot.

Have you tried Kent? They have a nice assortment of small wooden items (also ideal for dollhouses and other crafts). They are definitely cheaper than Michaels.

Aaron Brothers Framing and Art Supply has ones that come in black and gold and are about 12 inches high that you would have to paint. Don’t know if that is big enough though. You can also try your local community college. Ours has an excellent woodworking department that is always looking for small projects like this to hone their skills. Every time I have ever given them a project, they do a great job and for way less money than I would pay retail.

Try hobby lobby or any other craft store in your area or go on ebay and look I am sure you will find them they are very cute but I have not seen them already painted
