Where can I learn to paint letters for craft projects?

I’m specifically looking for letters finished with dots where the letters end, but I’d love to find somewhere that has tips for learning to paint letters/words. Thanks~

   I use a stencil for that font. It’s called “whimsical dot”. I found mine in a local craft store but they sell it online too
