Where can i find mother of pearl shell?

I’m looking for a mother of peral shell to use for a craft project, does anyone know where i can get one? It needs to be already cut smoothly and flat. Thanks

    You can probably find various kinds of shell (though you might have to look for flat ones, depending on the size you need) at craft or hobby stores, as well as “rock shops.”
    Again depending on the size and shape you need, you can always find stuff online too.

    You can also make quite convincing mother of pearl (abalone) shell from polymer clay too, as strange as that sounds. If you’re interested in lessons and more examples of that, check out this page at my site:
