Where can I find and 11-inch doll (like Barbie) but with a realistic/healthy body for a child?
I’m looking for a doll around the size of a Barbie (eleven inches), but I don’t want to instill a child with an unrealistic and unhealthy body image. Is anyone familiar with a company that makes dolls in the shape of normal-looking women (and men, for that matter). It would be so cool to give a child a fun toy with no chance of emotional screwed-up-edness.

Well, these aren’t 11 inches,
but American Girls are great dolls! They aren’t stick thin with caked on make-up either. They cost 95 bucks but are well worth the money, adn are collectibles as well! This company also makes “bitty baby” and “bitty twins” for younger kids.
You can buy them clothes and furnature too! It’s so fun! I have 7 and I always loved these dolls.
