What’s the name of a doll website similar to LUTS and Dollfie?

I remember stumbling upon a website selling the same sort of ball-jointed dolls, but less expensive. And now I’ve lost the URL!
I remember they sold a circus-y set of dolls, with an acrobat, an animal-tamer, a fortune-teller… I liked it because they sold the dolls WITH clothing, instead of making you purchase it separately.
If anyone knows what I’m talking about, please let me know!

The only company I know of with circus-themed dolls is Iplehouse, and I wouldn’t call them cheaper than Luts or Volks (Dollfie is the type of doll, not the company). Maybe you were looking at one of the Chinese brands? They are often substantially cheaper than the Korean or Japanese brands. You might want to start checking the link on Resinality or Den of Angels if you still can’t find the company…also, keep in mind that if the circus line was limited, it might be sold out.

The best way to find something similar to what you are looking for is to search a site like Gigglegeek and just start clicking shop links that seem in your price range. There is a huge list of companies on the right and each one shows the styles and type of dolls that company sells with the price range. Now, also, there are American versions of the ABJD and many people find their affordability more within their price range. Goodreau BJDs are an example of this with dressed and undressed dolls available. Check out Denver Doll Emporium for these as well as other BJDs that might be in your price range and similar to what you are wanting.

Like the first person that answered stated though, the dolls you saw are probably not for sale anymore. If you are familiar with BJDs then you know they are usually limited runs and sell out rather quickly. Sometimes you can find what you are looking for on eBay or Yahoo auctions or even on sites like Den of Angels but for the most part, unless those dolls just came out, they are most likely sold out.

The best alternative I can suggest to you though, if you cannot find the doll you first saw, is to buy a similar undressed doll and hire a seamstress to create an outfit like the one you wanted. Etsy’s Alchemy option would be a good place for that as long as you provide your doll’s measurements and good clear and concise descriptions and possibly photos of the clothing you want. I know it doesn’t address your desire for a clothed doll but it may be less expensive in the long run. Especially if you purchase a less expensive doll and budget for a custom outfit in your calculations.

I know it isn’t the website you wanted but hopefully you can find it through Gigglegeek or one of the other links. Good luck!
