What’s the difference between these paper punches with scrapbooking?

I’m new to the scrapbooking hobby and would like to know what’s the difference between these punches. I don’t want to waste a ton of money on basically the same thing.
1. Punch around the page
2. Edge Punch
3. Pop Up Punch
4. Single Punch

Okay, I’ll try to de-mystify the punches for you!

    1. Punch around the page – these are punches that you use around the edge of a page to create a decorative border; I think that there are also coordinating corner punches so that you can literally go all the way around the page you are doing: http://thecraftsdept.marthastewart.com/2009/07/introducing-punch-around-the-page.html

    2. Edge punch – these are punches that are the same or similar to the punch around the page ones, I am not entirely certain if these have coordinating corner punches: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/scallopsquareswithscallopedgepunch/

    3. Pop up punch – these are punches that do not cut a shape completely out, they rather cut a type of outline that you can then play with; in this link you can see the butterfly shape and you can then make it 3D by folding the wings: http://www.crafterstoybox.com/store/page313.html

    4. Single punch – the most basic of punches, you punch one image out (star, butterfly, leaf, etc): http://www.craftcreations.com/Leaf/315/1/Single-Punches/

    Hope this helps, good luck.
