Glue. Lots and lots of glue.
[[Edit]] Oh, and sparkles.
try making a scrapbook
make a rag rug out of old unwanted shirts.
… there’s different techniques. search “how to make a rag rug” in google and you can choose which kind you like best.
make “shrinky dinks” out of the clear plastic to-go boxes (like the ones from Panera)
…. well, that involves drawing and coloring… but it’s a little more interesting. you have to sandpaper the plastic, draw on it with colored pencils, and put it in the 225 degree oven for about 5 minutes. you’ll see the shrinky dink curl in there, but it’ll flatten back out, and when it does take it out.
make a collage. Get a shoebox or hatbox and collage the whole thing.
Depends on what supplies you have.
You can melt crayons and pour them into molds to make swirly sculptures that write nifty colors/patterns.
Melt the end of a crayon over an open flame (use a candle) and “flick” the wax into paper. It makes a splotchy, smeary art. If you melt the end of the crayon, then “color” with it, it makes a thick, shiny pool of wax on the paper.
Do you have cornstarch? Mix equal amounts of cornstarch and water for a oooey, gooey surprise. It’s a liquid. It’s a solid. It’s both.
Origami is entertaining. There are websites sites to show you how to fold paper into all sorts of things. Kirigami is amazing. Google them both, grab a package of computer paper and off you go.
Garnishing fruit and vegetables can be fun. All you need is food and a knife. Again, instructions are online. Google it.
Cook something. That’s creative.
Bake something. You can make and decorate a cake, cupcakes, cookies…
Rearrange furniture. Very creative!
Make gifts for loved ones out of snapshots you’ve taken. People love getting pictures. If you mount it in a pretty frame, or do something creative with it, it’s a unique gift.
What other supplies do you have? I just picked basic “around the house” things. Let me know what you have and I can give you more suggestions.
EDIT TO ADD:
Cut up plastic soda bottle and/or milk cartons and make bird feeders or planters out of them.
Why not try counted cross stitching?
Start with a kit to learn and then you can use your artistic moods to design cross stitch.
Really easy to learn and no major outlay of money.
