You sound very crafty, which is wonderful. Parents and grandparents (am both now) LOVE handmade, hand crafted and thoughtful gifts far better than anything store bought. We love ingenuity and that you took the time to make something, not just run out to a store. Things that would be nice is a frame that could hold a treasured photo of you and the recipient. Consider making a cover for a small journal or address book (we grands don’t always hit our computers first). What about making soap and embedding some of the tiny trinkets, glitter, etc. Soap can be a wonderful present, particularly if you add in a nice essential oil fragrance like lavender or balsam or lemon. Totally natural and not too expensive add to your craft collection. So keep on your thinking cap, you’re doing well.
Happy holidays.
