I used a hot glue gun and the glue sticks to fit it. USE EXTREME CAUTION these guns get EXTREMELY HOT and can take the skin off of your hands/fingers. Small, cheap ones tend to turn or fall over. Use a piece of wood just a inch or so wider than the guns “feet.” Place guns feet evenly from ends of wood and mark positon of feet with a pencil. Now squeeze a puddle of glue inside the marks where the “feet” were and then carefully set the feet of the gun in glue and let it cool. Now the gun will set better on the table/work bench for you.

I used hot glue gun to attach fake flowers/bows etc. to the sides of the pots for decoration.

Now if you are talking about gluing the pots to one another you will need a stronger glue like tightbond. Check in your craft supply store. Look at the glues and see which ones will work on painted surfaces or plain terra cotta. Then look to see which ones are labeled as strong holding. Or ask the peson in the craft supply area.

You can also go to Lowes Hardwear or similar store and check out the glues there. Or call and ask at these places for help in purchasing a strong glue for your needs.

Oh wait, if you use acrylic paint, you can glue it together with clear silicone adhesive. That should be nice and strong for your purposes and it does adhear to paint. Then to protect all cover it with high gloss varnish.
