what to name my craft small business?
I need help coming up with a name for my craft business…just for now a small business setting up and craft fairs and stuff. I’m selling things like onesie tutus, diaper bags, burp rags, bow hangers, and canvas paintings, tile paintings and stuff like that so it isn’t just all sewing projects or all painting projects, it’s both. It’s geared mainly towards baby and kids items although there are some adult projects (like fleur de lis paintings) so having trouble coming up with a name.
The only idea I had was Pretty Little Mudpies, but idk about it.
Any help please!!

I like the name of ‘Pretty Little Mudpies’.
Good luck with your business!
to really pick a name that suits perfectly what you do, you need to brainstorm a little first. list all the unigue things about what you do, not just the items, but describe them too, what colors do you tend to favor, are they funky, quirky, charming, practical etc…
list the first things that come into your head in a little notebook then carry that notebook with you for a while and as things occur to you jot them down.
do a little research about the names of shops that you have seen that really grabbed you. ask yourself a few questions. What was it about the name of that shop that caught my eye, was it the style of the writing, the colors they used? was it the clever way they described their wares in just a couple of words.
Did they use the creators name in the store name? What is your name? would it look good in a store name …ie..Krissie’s funky fish, Debbie’s darling doodles, Donna’s Doodle Pies, Pam’s Painted Pampers.
List every name combination that pops into your head no matter how silly it may sound, because it just could trigger the right combination of words later.
but be careful, do a couple of test runs once you figure out what you like. run all the words together in case you ever get a domain name, make sure the words don’t combine and appear to make some other word that might be embarrasing to you later. then do a google search. type in the name you have selected and see what comes up…that fabulous name you just thought up may already belong to someone else, but don’t panic or get dissapointed, just tweak it a little to make it more unique.
Good luck with your business adventures!!!
