Micheals, in the united states, is a great craft store. They have everything you need for any kind of hobbie. And the people who work there are very hepful and know exactly what they are talking about and are very friendly.
AC Moore, every time. I like it because I’m a knitter, and this store seems to have the best selection of yarn out of most of the craft stores I’ve been to. Plus I like the store employees – they are always very helpful.
The national chains are great, but its also worthwile to check out local craft stores in your area. THey usually have more specialized selections of stuff, and the employees are usually very friendly and offer lots of help! At a coupla yarn stores here in Boston, you can just go in if you’re having problems with a pattern, and they will help you out for free, because they know you. And youre supporting local businesses. Hope this helps

Hobby Lobby is the best. It is HUGE and has not only craft stuff, but home decor. They have great sales, too.
