What is the best type of glue to use when gluing on pearl trim to a pendant for your necklace?

I bought this necklace from an online Etsy shop and I wanted a pearl trim around the edges of the image. The seller said she couldn’t do that for me and that i would have to wait one more week before she could. I have my own pearl trim at home which i think would look lovely with it. I was just wondering which type of glue is the BEST type to use for when crafting and applying gems to jewelry. I really want a professional look, so the one that doesn’t leave any ugly marks, damages the trim, or looks bad after it dries would be PERFECT! :D

Btw, I don’t think super glue is that good because I tried using it for a few of my previous jewelry pieces and it leaves shiny gems cloudy and with a thin white film on top even if you glue it from the bottom. :(

Thank you for taking the time to answer!
