My favorite crafts glues are the Goop glues. There’s Amazing Goop, Shoe Goo, Crafters’ Goop, and several other varieties. I’d recommend Crafters’ Goop or Amazing Goop. Be sure you have adequate ventilation with these, though.

They’re available at crafts stores, home improvement stores, and in the hardware department of most larger discount stores, and may run $2.- to $4.- a tube, depending on size and store. They dry slightly flexible and very strong, and are good for adhering slick or porous surfaces.

Try super glue, dries clear and quick.

A glue called E6000 is amazing for jewlery repair! It holds awesome and you can peel any residue off, unlike super glue which can ruin your jewlery. Just be sure to let it dry for 24 hours.

I work in a bead store and use it all the time.

Speaking as a jeweler, please only use glue if that is the way the stone was attached to begin with. If the stone was set, please have it repaired by a professional. Some glues can harm the stone, while the rest simply make further repairs nearly impossible.
As for the type of adhesive, two part epoxy should work just fine. (jade is pretty sturdy, so it shouldn’t hurt it.)
