What is that craft called, and how is it done?
The one that has little paper people and they are all connected so it looks like their holding hands. It’s like one big long chain?

Paper Dolls. Fold the paper in half and in half again. Cut out half a person leaving the hands and feet uncut. (that’s harder to explain then I thought)
Can’t think of a term for it right now, but you can draw, then cut out the *whole* figure on the folded paper (instead of half) to make it easier… as mentioned, make sure the hands or any areas you want to join extend all the way to the edges of the paper and make them at least a little bit wide at the edges so they won’t break when the strip is opened.
You must fold the paper strip *accordion* style for this to work though!
Here are lots of lessons and ideas:

yes.. paper dolls its called. and to make a chain of them, fold the paper accordian style. but you can also fold the paper in half, half again and so on, then cut random shapes in to the folded paper, the more shapes you cut out the more detailed the finished work will be. when you unfold it, it will resemble a square of lace or even a snowflake. try different sorts of papers to.
It’s called a paper doll chain. Here’s a site to show you the steps needed to make one.
