He or she is called a woodworker if he/she works with any wood
However the are many sub divisions of this.
Just to list a few:
If he or she build homes or outdoor things than there called a carpenter
If he or she uses chisels then there called woodcarver or wood scuplturer
If he /she use a pocket knife than there called a whittler
or chip carver depending on the way they use the knife
if he/she make cabinets then there called a cabinetmaker
if he/she makes wooden molding then there called a millwright
if he/she make wooden wheel then there called a wheelwright
if he/she cut and shape thin pieces of wood into a picture of something then there called a verinerer , Marquetry, if thicker then Intaria
if he/she make wooden toys than there called a toy maker
if he/she make wooden patterns for a foundry then there call a Wooden Patternmaker ( this is a sub division of a wood carver)
if he/she make wooden furniture there called a furniture maker
if he/she make wooden branches and stick to make things with then there called a rustic wood worker
