What is a good western craft for kids?

I am planning crafts for a Western themed Bible School. I am looking for ideas for crafts. My kids will be ages 3-13. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Log cabin with tounge depressors. Best way to do it is to notch top and bottom on ends so they fit into eachother, but if this is too difficult, you can glue 1 stick vertically in the corner to keep them together (there will be spaces though).

Don’t know how involved you want to get, but you could pan for gold (pyrite), with a fish tank.

Diaramas are good. Little camp sites or such. People could be made with pipe cleaners and marshmallows or cotton balls.

You could teach to make rope, either by twisting smaller rope/twine or simple braiding. You could make lassos or horse reins.

You can make a whole bunch of stuff. But with the internet now, you can do search and browse over many sites with suggestions. I put “western crafts for kids” or type in “how to make leather wallets with kids” and got more sites so it will be up to you which one to pick from that search…(Google)
The link following has all sorts of things like Bandannas, Rattlesnake rattles,Cactus painting,Tumbleweed art and more.
