What is a good digital scrapbooking software package that works on a Mac?
Are there any good free online sites I could use by themselves or with a software package? What is a good way to print off the pages? In the long run, is it cheaper than buying those photo books on Snapfish/Shutterfly?

Go to CropMom at http://www.cropmom.com and create your own layouts there. CropMom is free to use. You can upload your photos, add text and choose from thousands of embellishments for your scrapbook pages.
Once you’ve made 20 layouts, purchase them in high resolution from CropMom (you can buy a bundle of 20 layouts). Now, you can have them printed anywhere, such as Snapfish or Shutterfly or PhotoWorks.
The beauty of creating the layouts at CropMom is that they’re YOUR layouts, entirely personalized and customized the way you want them to be, as opposed to templates that are offered by the printing companies. CropMom does not print them, just lets you make the layouts. You can also print your layouts at home on your printer.
You can use Heritage Makers with a Mac. You can design individual scrapbook pages or design a hardbound book. Heritage Makers has two different types of accounts, basic and premier. Basic is a free account, which gives you access to basic embelishments, there’s about 1400-1500. Also you get 2 gigs of storage for your pictures. A great way to backup your pictures.
