   Perhaps that’s his idea of a craft project, poor him.

   A friend’s daughter uses soft drink can tabs to make chain maille. I think she found instructions online somewhere. You could use Google and find it. Type in something like “instructions chain maille can tab free” and see what comes up.

   A friend who goes to Ren Faires often has a fun craft. She takes cording and ties bells and decorations onto it at various intervals. She then wears this on her belt with her costume.

   For a friend’s husband I’ve made small drawstring pouches of various fabrics to wear with his Ren Faire outfits.
