What can i make with mesh like fabric?

I have rolls and rolls of 100% polyester fabric. It’s a mesh like fabric, and not very soft, so probably nothing wearable. A variety of craft ideas and instructions if you have them would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hum. How about goodie sacks (as for wedding favors), shower scrubbies, billowing window treatments, tutus for the neighborhood dogs. Okay, maybe that last idea isn’t so great.

If you do any thread painting or machine embroidery, that kind of fabric is nice for making an imitation of free-standing lace.

Use that with epoxy, and you can make just about anything. Such a material is excellent for making composites. You can make boxes, airplanes, boats…anything.

You could make a top out of normal material (t-shirt, tank-top, whatever) then make a second top out of the mesh to layer over the first one. That looks kinda cool.

My mom used to make air fresheners.
    Here’s whatyou need:
mesh fabric (probably you want to cut it into circles at lest twice the diameter of the orange)
    oranges
    cloves
    string/ribbon

stick cloves all around an orange
wrap the orange in a few layers of mesh fabric (until you can’t see the cloves)
tie the bundle with the string or ribbon

as the orange dries the orange scent and the clove scent will freshen the room.

http://www.freepatterns.com is a great website for all kinds of patterns.

Definitely tote bags, use some mesh combined with theme fabric. Your can buy the webbing strap for handles at JoAnns for about .89 per yard.
Swimsuit cover ups, especially if you sew on charms or patches to highlight the suit underneath.
Some school districts are starting to ban any mesh fabric, even layered, so clothes might not work.

    Have fun…
