Well… You could cut out construction paper hearts and let them color them for there parents or something like that! =)

Another idea is using cheap colored sponges, cut them into hearts, etc., and put string through them, glue pictures on the fronts of them, or paste the sponge hearts onto construction paper, or poster board for a collage of “My Valentine Poster” arrangement. YOu get the idea…let your imagine run with it.

    Have fun!!!

For the 4 year old get some Elmer’s glue (it’s made from milk so you don’t have to worry about them getting sick if they eat it) Popsicle sticks, pompoms and macaroni. These are all things you can get at the dollar store. Make a frame and decorate it with the pompoms and macaroni. (If you want colored macaroni cook it first mix it with food coloring and let it dry overnight on parchment paper.

For the two year old get some chunky crayons and have him color a picture to put into the frame!

Foam sheets are great to use …. buy letters etc. also. You can cut out hearts and use yarn to lace them together for a great contrast…try red and white, red and pink or even pink and purple.
