What are the places to sell crafts online?
Do you sell your crafts online? I am interested in the various ways and places people use to sell there crafts.
Do you know of any other places to sell your hand made crafts at besides etsy?
Knitting, crochet or any handmade crafts venue.
I am interested in online or offline ideas.

Online, I sell on Ebay and on Craigslist. I have done pretty well on both but better on Ebay. I just signed up for an account with Etsy yesterday so we will see. Offline, you could check into craft fairs, etc. Hope this helps.
Etsy doesn’t advertise, so the only people who shop there are the other crafters who sell there.
I used Ebay to get started, and at the same time I had a free website at Tripod.com. Then I upgraded to a paid site as the money started coming in, and gradually stopped using Ebay.
I also gave away some freebies to build word of mouth and to get pictures and testimonials to use on my site.
Before I did any of that, I did research. I looked on Ebay to see what was selling, and to make sure mine was better than anyone else’s. I looked through catalogs and if I don’t see it in a catalog, I don’t try to sell it. If I do see it in a catalog, I make sure mine is MUCH better.
