What are some simple, but fun & interesting crafts I could make?

Since it’s summer, I have time to do lots of activities.
Sometimes, I want to do things I haven’t done in awhile, in the summer, and I’d like to do some fun but simple crafts. My question is, what kind of crafts are simple and fun to make, but only uses limited material, not a lot, and uses common materials I have (like paper, glue, cloth, etc)?
I like many crafts, so any type would be fine. Just suggest a few fun & simple craft ideas you like, so I have an idea of what I might make. :D
Thanks in advance.!

well i like to learn to make new things from fabrics and thread, and maybe glue guns too, and ive recently picked up a book on how to make soft toys, they are adorable and artistic, and a little bit out of date, seeing as it was first published in 1963, and i will warn you know has some derogatory words we would never use now, simply to describe the colour of wool. the main idea is you can make things, it is very easy to make cushions out of old bits of fabric and mend stuff around the house, you could also take craft classes and learn new things there.

You could take styrofoam plates, tumblers, bowls, etc. Cut out designs within them – eg. floral petals, freehand paisleys, or even some scenic ‘story’ [like you would do for a halloween pumpkin]. then glue some colored cellophane paper on the inside so that the holes are all covered. next, glue or tape the plates together with the cellophane paper on the inside. Use these for mobiles, suncatchers, etc. etc.
