What are some halloween craft items I can make and sell at a garage sale?

We’re having a garage sale in October and I was thinking I could make some artsy thing to sell for the holiday. Any suggestions of something neat I can make? Possibly easy, not totally junky, and that will actually sell? What would you buy? I can make a lot of things, but my strongest point is illustration.

I used to get those little 2-3″ ceramic pots and paint them bright orange. Then paint a jack-0-lantern face on the front and fill it in with candy corn and give them away. Easy and not too costly.

There are several to choose from like making placemats, mugs, etc. Go to the store, buy plain placemats and shaped toys and dip them in craft paint and stencil them on or buy mugs and paint designs on them. You could also make a house out of popsicle sticks with action figures role playing halloween themes

In most towns, you can’t sell crafts at a yard sale – only used stuff. So check with your town to make sure you don’t get fined. And if they will let you have crafts, make wreaths. Those always sell great.

You could make ghost and pumpkin pins out of polymer clay. Fall centerpieces would be another idea. Just for fun, you could make up a lot of those ghost ‘ poop ‘ candy bags to pass out at Halloween. You can find instructions on the web.

you can get some small pumpkins and paint faces on them or get craft foam sheets with adhesive on the back and cut out eyes, noses, mouths etc. you can display 1 pumpkin with these foam pieces on it and sell just the cut-outs for them to put on their own pumpkins. Let your imagination go wild with foam face cut-outs. If you like to paint, pretty fall scenes on a gourd or pumpkin is always nice.
