Decorating your pages or using scrapbooking around your home?

If you want more ideas on embellishments for pages, my favorites are ribbon, fibers (diff. kinds of yarn), brads, rhinestones, ribbon charms, and ink pad. Solid color ribbon/fiber goes with a lot more than the patterned ones and adds texture & dimension. You can use brads, jewels, buttons, charms to accent a picture, follow a curve on a page, or bring the eye to any part. I use an ink pad to make edges of a picture/journal mat look less plain.

If you’re talking about for the home, You can easily change up a canvas, wood block, alpha letter, picture frame, etc. to add flair & personality to a room. I’ve painted simple naked frames, added ribbon, modpodged over paper, etc.

Take 4 pictures, one from each season. Write Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall or Autumn on each appropriately. Punch a hole and tie together with raffia or twine or cord and wrap around a twig, and hang in your house. You will have 2 pictures on the top and the other 2 pics right under those.
Or take a nice photo and put in a frame, but then add short wooden pegs for legs, and drill holes and attach handles, and you have a tray, for jewelry, etc or drinks.
