What are some good ideas for crafts that I can make and sell?
My 4-H group is having a fundraising event and I want to make some stuff to sell. Any ideas?

Depending on your time schedule, do some research. Get your group organized and go out and check local art shows, art galleries, hobby shops and shows, and see what is being shown and what is selling. Then check out the talents of your members and see how you can apply your talents to the needs.
Find something that you can get supplies for little money or free.
You item needs to cost you very little, be done well and satisfy a need. Keep in mind it could be something simple as a decorative jar of spice tea mix, mixed jars of spices to cook with, salts for the bath.
How about getting a “donated” or wrangle for a great price in exchange for advertising on a bicycle that you sell chance for and raffle off. You could contact 10 or 15 local merchants and sell chances on a number of items. Place advertising in public places and set up in a friendly grocery store on the week ends. You make a little money, someone wins some nice prizes and your local merchants get some advertising
If you knit or crochet, make some hats and scarves, or baby hats & scarves. The Internet has many sites that offer free patterns.
