Question by : What are some creative arts and crafts for my nine year old’s birthday?
Hello.
My daughter’s birthday is coming up. (she’s turning nine) For her birthday party, she has decided to have an Arts & Crafts party. Any ideas?
So far, we have thought of:
-jewlery boxes
-beaded necklaces (we got a kit)
_possibly friendship bracelets
_possibly making beads and making bracelets/necklaces with them.
Thank you.

Are you having a jewelry/accessories themed party? Sounds like it
You could buy some plastic sunglasses and let them glue jewels and things onto them. You could buy gold and silver frosting, sugar pearls and jewels (you could buy things like that at a baking store or some party stores) and let them bedazzle their own cupcakes.
Not related to jewelry, but since its summer you could buy some cheap white beach towels (Walmart or the dollar store) and let them draw on them with fabric markers. You could do the same thing with flip flops and sharpies, but you don’t have to worry about sizes if you use towels.
There are plenty of books on things like this at craft stores or the library.
What do you think? Answer below!

I love making bracelets with string and yarn. For those just starting to learn should try the DNA strand (spiral style). It’s the easiest because you only have one knot to learn. My little sister liked it more when I had a soft yarn to teach her with.
Tie Dye is always fun. It’s pretty cheap, too. It can be rather messy though.
Making paper flowers is easy.
Origami would be fun.
