What are some cool things to do with ole t-shirts? (other than giving them away like arts and crafts wise?)?
If you give something can you say how to do it?

Use them to dust with, it saves on paper towels. Or tye-dye them it gives a new look to an old shirt.
If the shirts are plain why not let the kids have some fun with this craft. Hang the shirts on a hanger and then on a line. Give the kids a spray bottle filled with water soluble dye and let them go to town spraying the shirts.(make sure that they are protected from the dye on the clothes they are wearing [garbage bag with holes for head and arms works perfectly] or have them wear bathing suits lol) Its fun and they will get a new shirt out of it. Another option is to stuff the tee and sew up arms, bottom and neck holes, especially if it was a favorite. Make great comfy pillows.
Our Lutheran quilters group quilted a top a woman had put together for her grand daughter’s graduation. she and the mother had saved tee shirts from the time the girl was little and cut the design and mounted it on that sticky cloth stuff and made large squares. They bordered each one in bright orange as it was the daughter’s favorite. The last tee was from the high school! It turned out gorgeous, I think the first one was a little unicorn from when the girl was four or something. If the tee shirts are important to you it is a way of keeping them.
The t-shirt quilt is a neat idea. Here’s a web site that tells how:

On Martha Stewart’s show a lady took a t-shirt and made a shopping bag out of it by trimming off the sleeves and sewing across the bottom. Here’s Martha’s site:

I am making a T-Shirt quilt. But I have cut out just the logo on a shirt , a pink cat, and made it into an applique for a skirt.
