Valentine’s craft project help!!!! 10 pts best answer!!!?

Okay, here’s the deal. I’m making this pillow for my boyfriend. It’s red fleece, heart shaped pillow and I’m embroidering “R J” and a rose into it in burgundy, dark purple and green- his fave colours.

Here’s the problem: I haven’t a clue what type of filling or batting to stuff it with and I haven’t a clue what to do on the back of it. I don’t want to leave the back completely plain red like it is but i don’t want to over pattern it either. Does anyone have any ideas that I might be able to use? 10 points to the best answer! Thanks I really appreciate the help to all who answer!!!

-Jazz

they make cotton to stuff pillows with and why not put i love you on the back?

  2. Nikolai says:

Put the date you two got together on the back, or the date you give it to him.

To stuff it… you could use the same thing that fills stuffed animals.. which you can get at any crafts store.

go to walmart and get bagged batting, it may be labled for pillows just make sure its not loose and not on a roll or something. I suggest a red satin or sateen for the back just plain that way he can lay his head on the back if the embroidery is uncomfortable. You are going to alot of trouble on this , i hope he appreciates it!

i would say just keep the back a solid color nothing big and special but at the same time not plain, because you dont want to over do it, cause ya know, he is a boy. and as for the filling what i would do is use cotton balls, A LOT of cotton balls, since the inside of a pillow is usually cotton filling, that might be cheaper than ordering a bag of cotton or something. but good luck. im sure he’ll love it either way since it came from the heart.

Put a hart with his favorite color with your name and his name and lots of harts

  6. Ruth says:

You can stuff it with cotton or any stuffing at the craft shop(you should be able to get pillow stuffing at any major craft shop), on the back what about I love you, or from your girlfriend Jazz, or if thats not you real name put your real name there, putting your name will always remind him of who he loves. PS it’s going to be a grat pillow!!!!!!!!!!!
