To all great project-makers and art and crafts experts. I need your help.?

I have this activity at school where you make tons of letters for someone and give it out to other people for them to write good things about that other person. I’m done with the design but my problem is mass producing it. It’s fully colored and I need around 50 or more copies. How do I produce it? Printing is too expensive and I thought of xeroxing it with color but its almost the same cost. My mom suggested risograph(?) but I have no idea what it is. Could you guys give me suggestions and tips cause it project is really special to me and I want to produce a unique letter. As much as possible could you give me ways on how to mass produce it with color but budget-friendly costs?

Thank You SO Much for all your help! =)

Check with Kinko’s or Office Depot about the Riso to see if they use one. You might also call printing companies about a small run if they use a Riso. They are simply high-volume digital printers very similar to photocopiers. You may have trouble finiding someone to do such a small number for you though.
Any home color printer attached to your computer will print 50 copies for almost no cost except paper and the small amount of ink it will use. You can either scan the page in and print out 50 copies or simply set it to copy in color if you have the copy function (3-in-1 printers print, copy and scan.) Have you considered using fewer colors and printing it on colored copy paper? Using black only and printing it on decorated stationary paper?Or reducing the size so you can print 2 per page?
Check the copy machine at your local library also to see if it prints in color. It’s usually relatively cheap to print on their machine if you don’t mind standing there feeding in the coins.

now keep in mind i live in a small town , but you might be able to find a mom and pop shop Printer who is willing to give you a discount on copying if it is for a school project… our locally owned office supply store will do this for our school kids if they take a letter in from the class teacher verifying the project is for school … might be worth calling around to check into . Good Luck and hope you get a great grade! ;)

Do you live close to a Technical School? I know in Norwich CT they have a graphics shop that you can get items done nicely at discounted prices because it is a learning expereince for the students. Good luck and I hope it turns out well for you!

If you know someone with a color printer, you could print it out in color.

A pack of nice paper isn’t all that expensive, maybe like an ivory color and then print it out on that.
