Scrapbooking Question!!!!?

I have a question about my scrapbooking. I want to make a scrapbook, but Instead of using the usual plastic covering sheet protector things, I want to not use them. I want to keep it out. I want to make the book wqith just the paper, no plastic coverings. How do I go about this? Is there something I can buy at the craft store to help me? Or do I just hole punch it according to the holes on the book, and just put them in. If I just put them in, will it make the pages shorter? Meaning will it make the cover of the book go over the paper 4 inches or something? Hopefully that made sense, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do a test punch sheet of the same size paper you plan to use for your scrapbook sheets. If your pages are already made, you may have to cut narrow pieces of cardstock and punch the holes in these and attach them to the side of your scrapbook pages with decrative tape.

There are several things that you can do depending on how much you want to spend and how much time you want to put into it. The most expensive would be to cut the page protecters one-half inch into the page area and attach them to cardstock with vellum adhesive or zots. You could also get a transparency sheet and cut it into 5 inch strips. fold in half length wise. Punch holes in the sheet in the appropriate area for the binding. Fold the transparency over a 12×12 cardstock overlapping it by 1.25 inches. using zots or vellum adhesive attach both interior folds to both sides of cardstock.

Another idea is to use a Creative Memories scrapbook. The sheet protectors (plastic coverings) are sold separately and you do not have to use them. The background pages are already fastened into the book using a strap and you just add you paper directly onto the backing page.

They are a direct sales company. Here is their website to find a consultant. I love their scrapbooks. Very good quality. The cover is quite plain but it goes nicely with other things on the book shelf! :) http://www.creativememories.com/

    Good luck.

You can make your own book cover and put this on the scrap book if you have photoshop.

There are easy tools you can use if you ever wanted to create a book to sell online.
