Question about nail head art (nails hammered in wood and painted)?
Has anyone seen work like this before: http://www.crafts-for-all-seasons.com/nail-art.html?
This is nails with different size heads, which are driven into a wooden plaque. The entire plaque is then painted black and the nail heads are painted (in this case, to look like flowers) and they appear to be in 3D. I am looking for different patterns but I have never seen this type of work before. If you know of any online sources I would be very grateful!
Thanks in advance!

I’ve seen those before but can’t remember what they were called (and “nail art” is something else entirely so hard to google with those words).
This page shows something simpler and similar but for tracing patterns:

Various kinds of nails, nail “brads,” tacks, etc., could be used too. Just painting them different colors would work, but changing heights or widths for each element makes for even more possibilities.
This type of art was very popular in the 60′s and 70′s. I think that most of them were done free hand, but you could find any kind of simple pattern that you like to use.
