Possible craft project? Is there a way to make your own sunglasses carrying case?

Using fabric or quilting, and making one yourself? One meaning, one sunglasses case to hold your sunglasses in ?

    Yes, and it’s very simple, too! All you do is make a flat piece of quilting or needlework, fold it in half, and stitch up the end and the side, leaving the other end open for the hole. As to size, measure how long your glasses are when they’re folded, add an inch to inch and a half, and then measure around the fattest part, and add an inch to inch and a half for how wide to make it. Since glasses are so widely divergent in size, particularly around the fat part, there is no standard. I have glasses cases that are almost all 7 inches long, and anywhere from 4 to 7 inches around. Of my glasses cases, several are needlepoint and lined with fabric. Others are quilted, both in whole-cloth and piecing. As to the edging, use bias binding tape.

    Here’s a site that makes them out of old ties. But you could use any fabric.
