Organizing Scrapbook Paper?
OK, you craft-aholics… what’s the best way to organize scrapbook paper? By color? By type (plaid/floral/season/etc.)? My “collection” is growing and I’m trying to figure out what the best way is to get myself organized. Input appreciated!! Thanks…

It’s better to organize it by type because it will be easier to find the type of paper you want no matter what the color is.
I would have to say that there are different styles of paper out there so best option is to set them out in styles. Then if you really want to be organized, once you have sorted out the styles of paper go along and try to sort them by colour too.
Have fun =)
Funny, I just did this last weekend & did it by style. Harlequins, Flowers, Stripes, Plaids, Checks, Circles etc.
I seperate some by the type, like texture. most of the paper I do by colors and put them in plastic cases.
I would organize them in a way that is best for you. Something that makes it easier for you too keep track of them. ALso Iw ould buy me a paper organizer I have seem them before. Try

I’VE PURCHASED A PAPER ORGANIZER AT MICHAEL’S CRAFT (I’M SURE THAT ALL CRAFT STORES CARRY THEM). SINCE PAPER COLOR SEEMS TO BE SECONDARY, I HAVE THEN ORGANIZED MY PAPERS BY “TYPE” AND THIS SYSTEM HAS BEEN WORKING WELL FOR ME FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS.
HAPPY CRAFTING!! BARBARA
