I would suggest stacking shelves or cubes. They can be purchased at home improvement stores or crafts suplies stores. Some of the cube options have drawers or shelves inside them. Make sure your choice will accommodate 12″x12″ paper, if that’s part of your supplies stash.

If there is a pole across the top I would take it out since it will obstruct the stacking of boxes and really has no use in this situation. If the doors fold when you open them then you could use the front to hold a sheet of paper listing supplies you need or projects you’re working on. I would then go to Lowe’s Wal-Mart or Home Depot to see what they have to offer in the Home Organizers areas. If those are too expensive or do not suit your needs well enough you could build appropriate boxes out of wood and paint them, my family usually ends up doing that. Another thing to consider is a roll out table or chest of drawers so that when you put your in- progress projects and their supplies away you can just wheel it back out later without having to search for everything.
