Mission Trip Crafts??
I need 2 or 3 crafts to go along with the story of the Bread and Fish, 2 or 3 crafts for the story of the Nativity and 2 or 3 to go along with the story of The Last Supper. I’m going to Mexico in August for a mission trip for our church and are organizing a Vacation Bible School down there and we really need some fun craft ideas for these stories. Also keep in mind that they speak spanish and we don’t speak it fluently so the crafts need to be pretty easy to describe to the kids. Also they need to keep the kids busy for a bit of time so they shouldn’t be something comparable to coloring sheets. THanks so much for any ideas you have.

I am unfortunately drawing a blank. I do know, however, that there are sites for church crafts. Go to Google and type in “craft project kids Bible loaves and fishes” or some such thing and see what comes up. You may also try “Sunday School crafts” and then search on any site that comes up. It’ll give you better answers than you’re getting here. Sorry I don’t have any either.
For the Nativity craft — one of them, anyway — I think I saw something on the Oriental Trading Company site. It was a foam craft mosaic of a stained glass window with a picture of Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus. These kids love color. They’d have this on their wall all year long. Go check it out. I’m sure you can find someone in your church (or two or three someones) to help sponsor the cost of this craft.
