Making money by arts and crafts? Advice please!!!?
I’m VERY artistic, I was thinking about making magnets and a bunch of other things. Ceramics… Bird Houses… etc.. I was wanting some tips and advice on what to make, pricings, etc and the best way to sell this type of stuff?

Making arts and crafts can be really fun and some people are willing to pay a lot of money for others art. For selling art i would suggest looking for art shows or fairs in your area they are held in many places. You can rent a booth at a fair and display your art to be sold right on the spot. i myself have been to many of these fairs and trust me a lot of people show up!! It is definitely a good way to make make money and most importantly have fun! So good and have fun with your art!
well first if your going to make and sell them you need a market art is a difficult one to get into.you have to make something that is practical like a and makes a statement and is original i suggest collections something that people might appreciate animals military hobby’s cars etc and if your selling them i suggest you find a store or two where you like and ask the owner to make a small corner for you although you should have a decent pitch to him and a plan like i want to sell my art here i was thinking about splitting commission i make this and that i also am willing to make custom pieces if they have no room to spare you could try making a book of pics and having it a order book where people look at your art your best bet is to have a good plan making and selling art pieces like that isn’t easy so you should make something good and orgional
There are websites such as etsy.com and ecrater.com that are great places to sell your craft. If you take a few minutes to get familiar with these sites, you may see you have a lot of competition, but if you find the right market and sell your self well, you can be successful.
