Is this something people would buy (craft show)?
My mom and I are crafty, my mother has it together more than I do…She likes to crochete and can make anything as long as she has a pattern…Anyways, I want to start crafting and selling it like she does or well used to do, she does a lot of Barbie doll clothes and furniture and they sell well, she sells barbie dresses for like $3 and $5, she used to sell really expensive dolls that took forever to make and they would take forever to sell too because they were expensive to she got out of that. One thing I know sells are the cheaper things that people would like to do themselves but can’t or don’t have time. I am big on Scrapbooking, I was thinking about making premade scrapbooks, all you had to do is place the pictures. Of course I couldn’t do a ton of these because of time retraints so I was also thinking I could do Cards and sell them for $1-$2 I mean people pay that price at a store right? What other idea’s could I do? I was thinking of making paper bag scrapbooks too and selling them according to how fancy they are…like $10 maybe. Do you think people would buy this? Any other idea’s, I also like to decoupage but it is a newer hobby that I haven’t quite profected yet.

are you kidding me? no. Where do you get off?
There’s only one way to find out.
Choose a project and make a few to put in a few local craft shows.
Don’t give up if no one buys at the first craft show.
Also, you can always take lessons on a new hobby or interest at a local Craft and Fabric store.
I own a store and meet a lot of crafty people that sell their items. The biggest one I would say is card making. It is not so costly nor time consuming. A lot of people stamp and that is a very affordable way to keep costs down. EX: use a beautiful flourish stamp underneath a flower and accent its curves with a few rhinestones etc…
I also have people that use the cricut machine and make vinyl decals and window advertisements.
Another lady uses her cricut to create small customized boxes for a small candy company.
Another thing that sells VERY well are “tear bears” made out of mulberry paper. These are hard to master but people LOVE them!
I wish you the best, it is fun to make money off a hobby and I hope this works for you!
