I don’t know about that but if you do, try Etsy.com rather than ebay.com.
Ebay sucks with all it’s fees these days.
Etsy.com you can set up a store , and the whole site is for handmade stuff.
good luck.
better site to sell at is Esty.com
It’s all handmade stores, cheap listing prices and by far the largest site of it’s kind. over 100K stores an 600K members. Great stuff I sell like hotcakes myself there – over $1000 since June and all I make is Pincushions.
to learn how to do things, try instructables.com or the great sites at Craft or Craftser!
And your ocal library is also great!
To sell you or your mom’s stuff, I would agree with the other that etsy is your best bet for handcrafted items. If you are looking for a new craft to make and sell, you could try gem trees. I make and sell them as well as design. I have instructions on my blog site that you can check out.
Good luck. – dj
Try perusing http://www.etsy.com and see what is selling well.

I have a pattern for an angel made of lace which has always been a big seller for me. It’s so simple to make with just a few folds of the lace and a wooden bead for the head. It’s a pattern that my friend and I made so I’ve never seen any exactly like it. At one point I made up a little brochure and was going to sell the pattern and the supplies in a little kit, but I gave up on that idea and now, since I no longer attend craft shows, I am just giving the pattern to people. If you would like it, please email me.
