I’m starting to make dolls out of porcelain or polymer clay and then making molds?
Which doll crafting magazine(s) would be most instructive in these areas?
Ok, if the magazines aren’t very good, could you tell me which particular books you found were worth the money? What do you think of Patricia Rose’s DVDs, are they worth the price?

Those magazines are hit or miss with the kind of articles YOU need. Go to half.com or albitris and type in dollmaking. They should have the complete books you need. I make dolls like that. ALso http://www.dollsparts.com should have instruction books as well as the materials that you will need. It’s a fun hobby to get into. I know you’ll have fun! Dic Blick also carries a nice assortment of clays. If you have a Joann fabric store nearby, check them out for doll wigs ect.
