The trial can only be used at the start of your account, the reason is there are restrictions on the trial, you can only achieve a max level of 20, you cannot use global chat, you cannot whisper people unless they whisper you first and so on…
To upgrade from the trial you need to input a game key, this gives you 30 days free if you buy a copy from the shops (the 30 days free covers the cost of the cd’s and whatnot) When you have upgraded you can then add the game card
