Learn to crochet. You can do it with scrap wool, or unravel old sweaters, or buy them from a charity shop. You can crochet any thing from very simple squares to coats, and household objects.

Well that depends on what kind of stuff you have around the house. you would have to invest a little on material. You said you like paper crafts? I like making handmade greeting cards…I use rubberstamps, or PC to print out phrases on my cardstock. I also use cardstock to make lil gift boxes or paper projects (with very simple folds) sometimes I use what ever materials I have to decorate. There are so many websites with templates. And I love the company I buy my supplies from…but there are other places.

Hi! Can I recommend TEMARI? It’s a Japanese art using simple string or thread. Beautiful balls are made by winding and simple thread stitching around another string ball. You can make all sizes and use crochet thread, sewing thread, embroidery thread…. (Yarn is too bulky.) There are several books about TEMARI by Diana Vandervoot. If you order temari books from the internet, be sure they are in English! Hope you discover how fun temari can be.
