Hello, my name is Cindy. At Craft for Food I know that it can be very overwhelming for a first-timer, and even seasoned pros, to start marketing and selling products online, so I aim to provide you with the best money making opportunities, tips, tricks and ideas to help you fully exploit your craft. What exactly IS your question here? Are you asking what materials to use? I’m going to guess that’s what you’re asking … If not, just disregard this.
You will need to invest in some high quality glue, maybe even a hot glue gun depending what it is you want to do. You can also invest in some opaque or transparent glass/ceramic paints to jazz the bottles up a bit. Obviously some paint brushes if you want to paint … small ones for finer details. Go crazy and buy an engraver. It’s easy and fun.
there is always etching
get your self some etching creme and some stencils = again also easy and really great permanent results.
you could do initials, or designs
make seasonal bottles – spring, summer, winter, fall for display in window
a wonderful gift for weddings or anniversaries would be initials with wedding date – and matching wine glasses.
Great idea… You could set up in craft fayres and personalise them, with whichever method you use, to each customer’s request (getting money first so they don’t walk off and leave you with a bottle with some random rare name!!)
