I’m not sure what you mean by this. Is it some kind of after-school program? No theme invloved? What kinds of supplies do you have? You could study art from other cultures and have students reproduce that style. For example, look at some totem poles from native cultures and then let students make their own out of whatever. (on paper, with clay, draw on wooden blocks, etc.) Or do something more personal where students make a “me” book full of pictures, writing, photos, etc. The options are limitless!
watch ART ATTACK or you can buy the magazines only
Here is a list that will give you all you need:

I have a 13 year old daughter, so I understand. One of the things that children like best is doing things that highlight something that they do well.
A way to do that, without a lot of expense, is to create a small scrapbook together. Use quotations, scriptures or your own thoughts (together) to create pages that reflect your interests, values and beliefs. Let your child do most of the work. Girls and boys love this activity, too.
Add special touches, such as a scrap of fabric or a button from an old outfit, pictures, ribbon from old bows (if a girl) and/or recipies you’ve made together.
Put some of your child’s favorite music on and make an afternoon of it. You can work on it several different times to make it an on-going event or you can do it all in one sitting.
The focus is on the two of you.
If you have more than one child, you can do it with both of them at the same time or do it with each child individually (my preference).
Make it what you want it to be.
I have always done crafts with kids and no matter what age I have found that they like the hunt and search crafts the best. On a walk outside you can find so many things [for free] that you can turn into a keepsake. A picture frame adorned with leaves, pine cones or twigs, a rock [or some glued together] that you can paint to look like an animal, a soft twig that you can bend into a circle to make your own dream catcher.
This way they get the exercise of being out doors, the fun of doing a craft and possibly they will learn something in the process.
