I’ve read from google search sites that you can bake your stuffs in the oven for 2 to 3 hours. but wouldnt it be too long? and the electrical fees are not free now u know…. not cheap not cheap!
I was actually going to conduct some craft classes for kids this week end. Need to know how to deal with the stuffs:)

You can set the completed crafts on racks to dry in a warm spot. Putting them in sunshine won’t speed this process much, if at all, because they need to dry out, not to cook. Drying outside an oven can take a long time, depending on the humidity where you are. The crafts have to be completely dry before they are painted.
When I have made salt dough projects, I bake them at a low temperature in a convection oven to dry them quickly. However, other doughs can be used that air dry better–though not necessarily faster. Applesauce-cinnamon dough works well for air drying, cornstarch-salt dough works well, and soda-cornstarch dough works well.
If you’re going to dry them on racks in a warm spot, be sure to turn them over every few hours to even out the drying.
