I Need Crafts to teach a group of kids! any ideas?

Ok so i signed up to teach this class at my local pat catans (craft store). I was going to teach button bracelets (they are really cute) but they are kind of easy and will not ocuppy the entire hour i signed up for (it only takes me 5 minutes to make one) so i need more to do (hopefully with buttons, since i already have them) plus if the first class goes well then i wanted to continue with more everyweek so i would need more to do.

I tried going to the library and getting books but they didnt really have anything. if anyone is out there with some ideas for exciting crafts anything would be appreciated but button crafts would be amazing! By the way my classes start in 2 weeks so…

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!

You could get inexpensive frames at a craft store and the kids could glue the buttons on like a mosaic. I’m not sure if they are old enough to be sewing, but maybe they could make simple square pillows and either sew or glue the buttons on. They sell thick plastic needles that you could use for young kids so they aren’t really sharp, and you could use yarn as the thread.

    Good luck! Hope I helped!

Well, one suggestion is go to http://www.stevespanglerscience.com or something like that and you’ll find tons of things there to try. Like, white glue putty( look it up, it’s about 20-30 minutes to make for first timers, and pretty easy to do, and inexpensive.
You’ll need food dye, depending on the amount of kids bottle(s) of glue, borax, and water, and like cups to make it in. It’s all probably 15-20 bucks at Wal-Mart for a group of 10 kids.
