You could go outside and pick wildflowers and press them. You pick them and then flatten them in large books. You should use wax paper to protect the pages of the books…

I am not sure about right now – but Michael’s has some really neat classes that they offer. You may want to go to their site and see what they are offering this month. May help you another day when you are bored and looking for something to do…

How about crocheting? It is really fun, and in my opinion it is addictive. You can buy crochet needles for 3 or 4 dollars (maybe even less), and you can pick up some neat yarn to work with. Since you have computer access, I would recommend going to http://nexstitch.com/. It has tutorial videos showing you exact step by step how to crochet. I personally love to crochet. It keeps your hands busy and you can make really cool things. Hope this helps!

I like using fleece fabrics to make simple bags. Because it doesn’t unravel, it can be cut, tacked together with minimal sewing, and it’s washable and durable.

I went to the internet to find shapes of animals (clip art works too), cut out my different pieces and sewed them onto another piece of fleece. Embellished with buttons for eyes and a few stitches for whiskers.

Next, I folded the bigger piece of fleece into a rectangle and used a big needle with yarn to make seams up the sides. Add a handle and there you go!

I’ve also added these fleece animals/flowers/letters to blankets, pillows, bags I bought pre-made….Easy way to add personality to something.
