I need activities for children ages 5-12 except arts and crafts!?
I work at a Daycare with kids ages 5-12 and I need some help with some activities for them, I tried to do a survey but now since it’s so close to school time all they tell me is “Ay Ms. school is almost here just let us play we don’t want to do some lame activities,” I made them decorate some CD’s using paints and they seemed to like it, but now I’m out of ideas, I can’t have them play all day inside and outside plus they are WAY TOO loud so I need an activity that can make them be occupied for a little bit. They get bored really fast. Help please and thank you.

When i went to a summer holidays daycare, we used to do these funny little dances where we would all copy the actions of the teacher. They were really crazy funny dances and they tired everyone out for later activities like storytime! It was a really great idea
I hope this helps
You could create a play or skit, small dance routine or have a small talent show! ?
You can have a fashion show with them. Bring out some old clothes of yours or something and have a fashion show! Take pictures and send them home with the children on the last day. You can also have them put on a mini play.
play group games like simon says and a big group game of hide and seek when i was younger i always wanted to do that (i never did)
my kids are around that age, and they are loving online game buccaneersandlobsters.com, its a wee free online game .
the other thing they love is playing with chalk, i have been letting them draw on the concrete in one area with chalk, so they can play hop scotch etc, they love it!! theyve even been making up their own games. plus a quick blast with the hose, and its gone!!
