you could build a picture frame out of wood. Im 14, and I just got a thick peice of square wood from Home Depot and a carving kit. Then, I carved a 8 by 10 square on the left side to put the picture in. On top, I carved little tools in the wood, like a saw and screwdriver. On the left, I wrote a personal message on a peice of paper and glued it on. Then I painted it. It looks really cool

Depending on your sense of humour and your Dad’s preferences, you could make a Candy Bar Card. I have used these as good joke gifts and also as serious cards for all sorts of occasions for all ages, including 60 year olds etc ;) They usually get a bot of attention and aughs too.

Here’s a page that describes the cards and gives some suggestions for what to say:

If their father is a golfer then you could have them paint or draw a golf bag on some card stock and use their fingerprints (in paint or from an ink stamp pad) for the golf heads of the clubs. We did this and it turned out awesome. We put ours in a frame.

Make it yourself, it doesn’t have to be made with felt, if you have no ideas yourself why don’t you join the cardmaking group it is listed but as there are more than one I would suggest the one that I belong to which you can join by subscribing to it at:cardmaking-subscribe@yahoogroups.co.uk having joined you will be able to see all the photo’s that have been sent by its members and I am sure that you will get all the inspiration that you need. BTW this is a UK group but has members in lots of overseas countries.
